Luckily the internet doesn’t run on Windows, although at the rate we are consuming bandwidth* if the old underlining technologies aren’t replaced in the near future, maybe this will become a reality.

* I remember reading something earlier in the year saying that over the space of a year the average broadband enabled house in 2007 will consume the same amount of bandwidth as the whole internet did back in 1995. Time for IP6 and Internet2 I think?
