Back in May David Airey a Edinburgh Graphic Designer posted a blog titled The Face Behind The Blog Collection. David mentioned how putting a little personal touch to your blog can help your readers connect more with your posts, .

Although Terinea Weblog is not a personal blog I feel it is important to break it up now and again with lighter material. I recently un-subscribe from a number of business blogs because they where a little bit, well boring. So here is a little about me and the company!

That’s me having a coffee with Ewan who was testing his new wide angle lens in the Edinburgh office last week.

Although I live Edinburgh I’m originally from Lancashire in England.

Robin and Mark work for Terinea in the southern office in Hastings, England.

I live with Mike the guy with the yellow T-shirt. Mike’s company designs the sound chips for Apple (iPod/iPhone), Microsoft (Xbox) and Sony products.

My office is round the corner from The Oxford Bar where author Ian Rankin drinks and so does his fictional character, Inspector Rebus.

Every Friday morning I meet fellow Edinburgh bloggers for a spot of coffee before work at Centotre cafe bar. A couple of weeks ago Sean Connery was spotting having dinner here!

I worked for Microsoft for a year during my university work placement.

I’m a big Liverpool fan. Back in May I was over in Athens with my Dad (right), although we never got a ticket or the right result!

  1. Thanks for joining in, Jamie, and great post!

How did the name Terinea actually come about? I’m a big Liverpool fan too, looking forward to the kick-off on Saturday.

I’ll go and add your post to the original list of entrants now.

  2. Do you know what, I’m not 100% sure how the name came about, will ask the boss.

We need a good start to the season.

    Thanks David

    Jamie
