Taking a week off from blogging

    Monday, September 24th, 2007

Far too much work this week, with some major deadlines to meet and my blogging buffer depleted. I decided rather than produce some rubbish, I will simply to wait till next week.
I’ll leave you with this rather interesting picture, 1 GB hard drive from 1987 and 1GB SD card from 2007, how technology advances!

    Thanks […]

    Monday, August 27th, 2007

Even Monks who provide IT support for their brothers in the Abbey face similar issues to those providing computer support outside the brotherhood!

Couple of months ago I came across a fantastic blog called The IT Manager Journal aimed at IT managers, support staff, users etc by Jason Slater. One of the things that makes Jason’s […]

    Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

As I mentioned on Monday I’m away this week, so last week I had double the amount of work to do for the blog.
Although the good news from last week was getting the Managing Director to write a blog post, only taken me over a year! Maybe it was the post “Getting your lazy co-workers […]

    Improving Windows XP for Families

    Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

Now you’d think that ‘Windows XP Home’ would have been created to do what it says on the tin, be a system tailored for home users, in particular families with kids! Unfortunately without downloading a rather simple and free application from Microsoft, Windows XP is rather a poor offering.
In a family you would expect there to be a range […]

Although Terinea Weblog is not a personal blog I feel it is important to break it […]

    Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

Are the computer wires in your office taking over? Check out Life Hack for this post on how to tidy up the mess. Personally I go through phases of tidying it all up and then it just gets a mess again…

    Bookmarks On Muiltple Computers

    Monday, February 26th, 2007

Do you use more than one computer, maybe even different types such as a Mac, Linux or Windows? One thing that really bugs me is not having access to the same Bookmarks on each of these machines. I do use the social bookmarking web site called del.icio.us but I still prefer to have links I can access from within my web […]
