First Ever IT Support - Lessons to be learnt about IT support?
By Jamie | April 27, 2007

When books first appeared on the scene they caused mayhem for users. Very much like todays PC’s/Macs?
I think we can learn three peices of advice from this sketch…
- As the end user don’t be afriad to give something a bash yourself, open the book see what happens. Every IT person out there only learn how to fix computers and support them by breaking them in the first place!
- As the end user try it out before the IT support person leaves you, closing the book back to front.
- As IT Support person make sure the end user tries out what you have shown them, make them do it. If you’ve changed a setting or installed a new peice of software restart the machine! That way you know it will work when your not around.
So popular was this Norwegian sketch that it made national news.

Personally I think that you can almost do away with the subtitles!
Enjoy
