Friday Humour - Edinburgh Festival
By Jamie | August 10, 2007
Its festival time here in Edinburgh, that’s the Fringe or Edinburgh Festival. The time of year when there are more tourist than local’s and you can’t walk more than two yards without having a flyer stuff into your hands.
Two of my favourite acts so far this year, have been the Canadian comedian Glen Wool and the man from Ireland, Jason Byrne.
Warning
If your easily offend by swearing etc, then you probably won’t like these video’s, you have been warned!

Just watched that first Jason Byrne clip. Fantastic Jamie. Would love to catch one of his shows.
I went to the ‘best of Irish’ at the Stand. Pretty good, and not too pricey. In a couple of weeks I’ll catch the Soweto Gospel Choir - not particularly funny, but they get some excellent reviews.

Couple of tips for seeing Jason don’t sit at the front and don’t let him see you go to the toilet. Hope you have great night, let me know what you think.
Oh, I’m off next week on holiday, but when I get back we will have arrange to meet up.

Thanks for those tips, Jamie. Always appreciated.
Hope you have a great break, and yeah, we should go for a pint sometime very soon.
I was at a stand-up show last week and a comedian was going through the full front row, asking where they were from and a few other questions. Most people were from abroad and thought they were comedians themselves, and then the stand-up came to a Scot, who said: “I’m from Scotland and I’m not funny”.
