On my way to work this week I noticed that the cheeky Mr Gervais had this billboard plastered in the center of town, over looking the Edinburgh Castle.

That billboard is fantastic. Gervais is supposed to be a bit hard to handle in personal life, but let’s be honest the man was a comic and business genius. He wrote the series that everyone was talking about, then wrapped it up quickly. He then managed to import the same series to the US. A lot of shows try to jump from the UK to the US but never seem to make it - Ricky’s did.

That is a crazy billboard… it reeks of an out of control ego… lol. But a little ego here and there isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I’ve only ever seen the American version of the Office, but the British version is definitely funny too. It’s totally different, but office humor is pretty universal, I think. Thanks for the clips!
