Networking Week
Last week seemed be social networking week. Which is always good from a business point of view and a personal one, getting out of the office and meeting new people.
- Wednesday - Business Breakfast at The Scotsman
- Thursday - Beer 2.02 at Tapas Bar Terinea
- Early Friday Morning - Edinburgh Coffee Morning at Centotre
- Friday Day - Corkscrew Networking Event at Thistle Hotel.
What People Can Learn From Geese
Last month I was asked to attend a free networking event called the Friday Business Club organised by Corkscrew Events. I had a particular busy week so I only had time to attended one seminar which was an hour on Sales given by Ben Kench of Business Booster. Now I must admit I’ve always been a bit skeptical on business and life coaches, but I was rather impressed by what Ben had to say and this short video he showed us on teamwork from Saatchi and Saatchi.
I believe the next Friday Business Club is on the 7th of December at the Royal Highland Centre. A quick shout out to Ian of Unique Databases for the coffee.
