The End of CoComment
By Jamie | August 2, 2007
On Monday’s post Which Firefox extensions would you pay money for?, I listed CoComment as Firefox extension I use on a daily basis. Well today CoComments upgraded the software which on a number occasion interfered with me leaving comments on blogs, couple of online purchases and then it messed around with my online banking.
Bye Bye CoComments!
I noticed I wasn’t the only one…
Why I don’t recommend Cocomment

Steve
Maybe I will be back, but if more people installed the “Contact me when someone leaves a comment” or it was staff, it wouldn’t be an issue. Some mentioned commentful as an alternative but the RSS feed for it doesn’t work.

Ok, we got the message from few of you with comments about the interface, etc. We have, today, made a change to the system so that we retain the advantages of the new (cleaner interface, more functionality) with the simplicity and extensibility of the old Conversation Tracking. Let us know what you think please. Thanks! Kristina (feel free to r-mail me at kristina@cocomment.com)
