How good is your business blog
By Jamie | August 7, 2007
A small increase of 0.2 in this months blog Juice. Which is a similar story with my Technorati authority and rank, but I always guessed this would be the case as you reached the foot of the hill.
Although this hasn’t been the same story as regards to the number of comments and subscriptions which has doubled. The number of visits to the site are also up by a third.

In my case they way I look stats is different. What I look at is plaine and simple unique visitors and page views, for example this was yesterday:
5485 Unique 25872 Page Views
Bu.bulicio.us has not been up a month yet, it was launched 17 Jul 2007, 00:44.
Even though the Unique is very important because you want the reader, for me it is more important the 25872 page views because it let’s me know my site is sticky.
As for comments and feed subscriptions I really do not even look at it because the fact is you can not control those, but you can control your visits by effective marketing and seo.

Vic - You’ve nice blog with some good stats!
I’m concerned with links back to my blog which help the Terinea domain. This is one factor for our blog. Hopefully when this blog becomes more popular I will have some metrics that can help business blogs something to aim for. Trying to sell the idea of blogs to business can be a tricky thing, they always want numbers.
Thanks for your comment

Looks like you’re making great progress. My traffic seems to go up and down, but I can definitely see an increase in revenue.

I love your blog and all of the stats. Very interesting when you compare different sites… for instance, for some reason your blog juice is way lower than ours, but our Alexa rank is not that far off, and your Website Grade is 89/100 which is also pretty close ot ours.
Our blog (www.smallbusinesshub.com) is ranked:
Alexa Rank of 90,387
Blog Juice of 6.1
Website Grade of 92/100 (www.websitegrader.com)
Thanks for all the tips and congrats on your progress!

Lisa - I think all blogs have ups and downs, I suppose the more popular blog the bigger fluxiations will be. For long as your revenue is increasing!
Mike - Its interesting to see different metrics and how some blogs can have a massive RSS subscription but little comments.
thanks for the comments
