JServe, a state-of-the-art point of sale application written in Java. The touch screens have different on-screen layouts depending on the area of the store in which they are deployed. The on-screen buttons can display text or pictures. In the restaurants, for example, the system visually denotes tables that are occupied. The hardware used is from leading Manufacturers such as EPSON and ELO and this gives top level performance as well as superb reliability. The Chip & PIN hardware is the Trintech Smart 5000. This product is sleek, elegant and ergonomic, it features a combined Chip & PIN + MSR reader, so there is no need for the customer to hand over their card as they simply place it into the single slot on the reader. Xenco is used for the electronic funds transfer (EFT) authorisation partner because of its reliability, flexibility and performance of their Creditable product as well as their superb track record on implementation.
