EPoS Knowledge is a fraud management and sales analysis tool that allows easy interrogation and analysis of PoS transactions that are held in the database. All transactions that take place on the tills throughout the estate are captured and stored to allow the system or personnel to produce reports as and when required.

As transactions are passed to the head office server, the information is captured and retained in the EPoSK database. This data is then interrogated using standard reports. Reports can be configured by using various search criteria including branch, date, till and operator.

The reports can analyse all activities on the tills and identify suspicious transactions. EPoS Knowledge can also identify sales trends plus business risks and where appropriate it can generate alerts back to the till or head office staff.

By quickly identifying the areas of concern means that an investigation can be launched at a very early stage whilst all of the evidence is readily available in the database. It removes the need for long manual investigations which have to gather all of the required information from various different sources as all of the information is already available within the system. The system can also be used to identify branches/operators where further training may be required and highlights problem stores which can be targeted for intervention to resolve various Issues.
